7 Random Thoughts
2. Did you make anything you really enjoyed this week? We whipped up Buffalo Chicken Dip, with one modification (adding buffalo sauce instead of hot sauce), from Michelle Dudash's cook book, Clean Eating for Busy Families. My favorite part of the Super Bowl is the food!
3. I tried Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding for the first time. Maybe if I'd never had real pudding it would taste amazing. Something was missing...perhaps adding some whipped cream next time.
4. My sister Carley had to work in our area for the day, so she stopped by for dinner. It's so fun when that happens! I wish we lived closer to family and friends. Most of them are an hour and a half away (without traffic), which includes crossing two bridges and $25 worth of tolls. My sister just moved one bridge and 45 minutes closer, woohoo!
5. Well,the baby woke up at 10:05 AM. I had a feeling that would happen. She went down for a nap at 8:50.
6. For the first time in five years, I ordered new frames and lenses. Fingers crossed it doesn't backfire on me. The frames I tried on at the store were brown with a hint of blue; however, they had a second pair that was more blue with a hint of brown. The sales associate said she couldn't guarantee which style would come in, since they are both the same frame, but if I didn't like it, I could ask them to order it again.
7. My husband Bryan and I are doing P90X3...our way. This is the 30 minute program that you're supposed to do 6 days a week. We modified it so we're doing it three times a week instead. We don't need crazy results and rock-hard abs. I'd like to feel stronger, and he's getting in shape for baseball season.
